Horace Mack began his Retail career with The Men's Wearhouse. Having been an installation manager for a cable company, Horace displayed a personal style with clothing which prompted a friend to suggest he make the
move. Sceptical as to the type of living he could make working "Retail" he soon learned that doing well and earning well, was only a mater of commitment and focus. Soon Horace was at the helm of the Fremont California location
leading his team, and managing the business to consistent increases. Then keys to the Downtown Oakland store proved just as fruitful. Another San Francisco bay area retailer, Rochester Big and Tall, benefited from Mr Mack's prowess as a professional clothier before a chance meeting with the men's manager of Neiman Marcus put Horace in the thick of luxury clothing an international hub of Fashion Retail, San Francisco's Union Square.
"I wanted to get out of the burbs" says Horace, and Neimans hired him on the spot. Horace became part of an elite group of professionals for Neiman Marcus, in a department of 1 million dollar producers. A Retail A List group, we should call them, his star continued to shine.
Flash to the present and you will find Horace at de Corato, a luxury boutique on Geary St in San Francisco.
de Corato offers sports wear and accessorises, finely crafted made to measure shirts and talored clothing for men and women.
We are excited to learn that Horace is also willing to write in syndication for The Retail A List Report which will be a commentary on the satorial scocial aspects of life in the 21 st century. Undoubtly done with the elegance and insite that is typical of Horace Mack.
